Hydrocoll® is a self-adhesive, absorbent hydrocolloid dressing designed specifically for the treatment of moist wounds. The dressing consists of a vapor-permeable yet germ- and water-proof polyurethane film, which maintains a moist environment. Upon contact with wound exudate, a gel forms that promotes granulation and epithelialization of wounds. This is particularly advantageous for chronic wounds where healing is often difficult.

Ingredients

Application

To apply, gently place the dressing over the wound and press lightly. The dressing can be changed as needed, usually every 3 to 7 days, depending on the amount of exudate. Before applying, the wound should be cleaned.
