Biatain Alginate Ag 10x10cm is ideal for moderately to heavily exuding wounds and provides effective wound protection. The dressing is particularly suitable for infected wounds and those at risk of infection, and is frequently used for venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, skin graft donor sites, traumatic wounds, and second-degree burns.

Calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), silver ion complex.

Application

The dressing should be placed on the clean, dry wound. It can be worn for up to 7 days, depending on exudation. For heavily exuding wounds, more frequent changes may be necessary. For optimal protection, the dressing should be used under a compression bandage. After changing the dressing, clean the wound and carry out appropriate follow-up care.
