17-thread cotton gauze, plaster mass composed of α and β calcium sulfate hemihydrate

Application

Activate the roll by briefly immersing it in water until evenly wetted. Wrap the moist bandage in close layers and shape as required. After around 30 minutes the dressing is generally sufficiently firm for transport; full hardening normally occurs after about 24 hours. Store unopened rolls in a dry place and follow institutional handling procedures during use.
