The bandage consists of 70% viscose and 30% cotton, making it comfortable to wear while being absorbent and breathable. Additionally, it is suitable for sterilization by steam at up to 134 °C.

It can also be used as an underlay and overlay for zinc paste or plaster bandages, and is ideal for covering splints and cotton pads. Recommended use includes various sizes: Gr. 0 for children's finger and toe bandages up to Gr. 8 for Desault and trunk bandages.
