Ingredients

Organic sugar (Europe)*, gelling agent: apple pectin E440i, acidifying agent: tartaric acid E334, calcium citrate E333.

Application

PLEASE NOTE:

  • A higher amount of UNIGEL is required for low-gelling fruits (see table on the bag).
  • The more sugar added, the less UNIGEL is needed - add sugar slowly at the end of the cooking process.
  • For jellies, dissolve UNIGEL in about 0.5 dl of water.

RECIPE FOR JAMS AND JELLIES:

  • Cook 1 kg of fruit (+ optionally 40 ml of water or fruit juice) until soft.
  • Add 20-50 g of UNIGEL, stir well and boil for one minute.
  • Add 0-900 g of sugar in small portions slowly.
  • Bring to a boil, boiling for at least one minute. Fill up to the rim in pre-warmed jars, close the jar and turn it upside down for one minute.

Notes

Store opened jams in the refrigerator at a maximum temperature of 5°C. Made in Switzerland. Store in a dry place.
