Calcium Alginate Gauze
Application
The STOP HEMO Gauze can be applied for nosebleeds, cuts, and scrapes, as well as mouth bleeding. For nosebleeds: Tilt your head forward to remove blood clots. Roll the gauze into a compact piece and insert it into the nostril. Pinch both nostrils together for 10 minutes. For wounds, clean the affected area and apply the gauze onto the wound. Remove it once the bleeding has stopped or leave it in place for up to 24 hours to support wound healing. The gauze should only be moistened with a NaCl 0.9% solution.
