Vita-Merfen MediGel is an innovative hydroactive lipogel designed for the external treatment of acute wounds. It is suitable for the treatment of abrasions, cuts, scratches, bites, as well as first and second-degree burns, including sunburn. The balanced formulation allows effective wound healing in moist conditions and significantly supports the healing process.

The moisturizing formulation protects the wound from drying out and creates an optimal environment for healing. This can shorten recovery time and minimize scarring. Hygienic application allows for safe use. Combining it with a plaster or bandage will further protect the wound.

Ingredients

Purified water, octyldodecanol, hydrogenated fatty acid glycerides derived from palm oil, PEG-200, hydrogenated glyceryl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, hydroxypropyl starch phosphate, tocopherol, benzyl alcohol (and) chloromethylisothiazolinone (and) methylisothiazolinone, polyaminopropyl biguanide, silica, trace elements (zinc, iron).

Application

Before application, hands should be thoroughly washed. The wound must be carefully cleaned before applying an even layer of about 2 mm thickness of the gel evenly over the wound and surrounding skin. Vita-Merfen MediGel can be used multiple times daily, especially in the first days following the injury. Ensure that the opening of the tube does not touch the wounds to guarantee hygienic dispensing. It can be used in all stages of wound healing until complete healing.
